Sky rider: An inspiration
What better way to inspire youngsters with haemophilia to a healthier, more active life, than with a pro-cyclist for team Sky? Despite his severe haemophilia, cycle champion Alex Dowsett competes all over the world at the highest level.
ROAD had the pleasure of working with Alex on behalf of Pfizer, to create exclusive content for GoFactor, a patient support programme helping young haemophiliacs and their families.

Traveller's tales
ROAD launches Xifaxanta from Norgine, the first virtually non-absorbed antibiotic indicated for traveller’s diarrhoea (TD). TD is a serious and costly problem – an estimated 1 million UK residents see their GP following illness abroad.
The legacy of TD can be problematic, untreated infection can lead to longer lasting gut and bowel problems such as IBS. ROAD combined both traditional and social media in support of the launch to healthcare professionals.

Deep insight
ROAD can now take you deep inside the lives of your patients and customers. Using a unique deep ethnographic technique, our film makers get under the skin of how your stakeholders inhabit their world, revealing people’s latent needs, behaviours and motivations. The insight we discover is always surprising, often moving and potentially hugely valuable. Uses include commercial, conferences, training, media, and public affairs. |
DNA testing – on a high street near you
The phones at ROAD were red hot earlier this summer as ROAD launched AssureDNA, the first paternity test to be made widely available through Boots. Consumers can now test the paternity of the child at home, with the comfort of a fully approved and regulated UK based laboratory processing the results. Navigating through the obvious controversy, ROAD was able to assure the media of the integrity of the technology and value of resolving uncertain paternity issues. The launch created blanket coverage from BBC evening news to front pages of leading newspapers.
